We submit this letter for your review before formal regulatory approval or a bank pilot.
ODG-PASS Gateway is software for preparing and validating payment messages. Our scope: correctness and structure of payment data. Payment execution is performed by the client's bank. We are a technology vendor — not a payment system or financial institution.
Why this matters
ISO 20022 migration often relies on MT→MX translation, but a translator can only build a correct structured message if the source data already contains the required elements. Incorrect data is entered by the client — outside the bank's control at initiation. Industry practice requires data-quality control when the client fills in the payment.
What the terminal does:
- Guides the client through structured fields (address by country, city, street).
- Maps purpose from plain words to the correct official code.
- Prevents omission of mandatory fields and identifiers.
- Allows pre-submission review — before data reaches the bank.
- Shows 🟢🟡🔴 with which field to fix and a plain-language explanation.
- Produces a complete structured message — ready for the bank's systems.
For the bank: data arrives already correct; core and internet banking need not change to connect (link in online banking, or on-prem «Check» module). For supervision: fewer structure-related rejections, repair fees, and operational load — without ODG-PASS executing payments or overriding bank decisions.
We welcome a pilot under NDA in the GCC and other jurisdictions.
